Funeral service for Barbara Jane Cranford, 85, of Minden will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Laird Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 2:00pm at Maple Grove Cemetery in Minden, following the service. Visitation will be held from 10-11am prior to the service at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cranford passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 in Minden. She was born on January 23, 1941 in Minden.

Barbara led a simple, yet meaningful life filled with the things she loved the most. She found great joy watching her birds at the feeders, reading and working in her flower beds, camping and of course, keeping her house immaculate! She was a beautiful woman who always dressed accordingly because she wanted to make her boys proud. Her family was the sunshine in her life, bringing her great happiness with a simple phone call or visit. They all made her days meaningful and bright.

Barbara loved her Lord and prayed for everyone in her life.

She is survived by her sons, Randy Case & wife Deniese, Jason Case and Tommy Phillips & wife Michelle; brothers, Dickey Hays & wife Rita, Johnny Hays and John "Big Johnny" Hays Jr. & wife Carolyn; sisters, Linda Coats & husband Danny, Nell Hays, Sue Blacksher & husband Anthony, Kay Meyers and Judy Segers; grandchildren, Crystal Case, Kevin Case, Clint Case, Caleb Phillips, Haley Jones, Megan Alex, Jordan Jones, Cody Case and Ashley Beavers; 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends that she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, R.D. and Mary Hays; husband and father of her children, James Case; husband, Milburn Cranford; son, Gary Case; grandson, Travis Phillips; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Case; brothers, Bobby Hays and Mark Hays and sister-in-law, Cindy Hays.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jordan Jones, Jacob Villareal, Preston Coats, Sean Massingill, Josh Hays, Clint Case, Kevin Case and Caleb Phillips.
