Barbara Kelley Davis

Barbara Kelley Davis, 70, of Piedmont, Alabama went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 03, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Pike, Rev. Leslie Bailey, and Rev. David Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Piedmont Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis leaves behind her loving husband of 26 years, Mike Davis; two brothers, Danny Kelley, and Kenny Kelley (Sharon); one sister, Linda Chandler (Steve); two step-sons, Craig Davis (Kelly), and Mark Davis (Jennifer); three grandchildren, Luke Davis, Priesly Davis, and Kinsley Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Craig Davis, Mark Davis, Luke Davis, Kenny Kelley, Danny Kelley, and Danny Chandler. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her father, Charles William Kelley; her mother, Minnie Ola Kelley; two brothers, Benny Kelley, and Roger Kelley; half-brother, Douglas Howard; half-sister, Marie Jones; and step-daughter, Amanda Davis. Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Piedmont High School, a former employee of SCT Yarn, and was a member of the Piedmont Church of God. Though she never had any children of her own, Mrs. Davis loved caring for them and was always willing to lend a helping hand when it came to raising the children in her family. She was an avid animal lover and leaves behind her beloved dog, Sadie.
