Barbara Dujets (nee Pacos), 73, of Hobe Sound, FL, passed away at home on January 4, 2022.
Barbara was born in Wildflenken, Germany on February 16, 1948 to Jozef & Genowefe Pacos. The youngest child of 5, they continued to honor their Polish heritage while living in Germany. Barbara moved to the United States when she was 5 years old and resided in Jersey City, NJ. Barbara met the love of her life, Leonard, in 1971 on the beach in Brielle, NJ and they wed in 1973 and resided in Woodland Park, NJ until moving to Hobe Sound, FL in 2003. Barbara graduated from Montclair State University Summa Cum Laude in 1977 while pregnant with their first child, Alina. She went on to teach high school in Bloomfield, NJ for a short time, then began handling the accounting of Dujets Tree Experts. They welcomed their second child Lucas in 1978, then their third child Gregory in 1984. Barbara played an important role in volunteering and fundraising for The Little Sisters' of the Poor in Totowa. She also volunteered with the Kosciuszko Foundation and St. Philip's the Apostle in Clifton, NJ for many years.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Leonard, her sons Lucas (Kristen) and Gregory (Jennifer), her grandchildren Austin, Alina, Luke and Danika. She also leaves behind her sister Alicia (Sal) Fallo and brother John (the late Louise) Pacos, as well as many Brother-In-Laws, Sister-In-Laws, nieces and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by her daughter, Alina, her sister JoAnn Kuti, and her brother Raymond Pacos.
A private cremation was held in Florida. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 1:00pm to 3:30pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ. Memorial service and blessing to follow at 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Katie's House (A home for young adults with developmental disabilities), P.O.
