Barb graduated from Mercyhurst Prep and Gannon University. She earned her Master's in Biological Science from Gannon University and taught in the Erie School District at Gridley and Strong Vincent. She enjoyed riding her bike at Presque Isle and McKean, gardening, feeding birds, and spending time with her cats.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her sister, Patricia Majerik, of Bel Air, MD; her niece, Natalie Majerik; her nephew, Nicholas Majerik; and her dear friend, Ken Coburn, of McKean.
A Celebration of Barb's Life will take place in May. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family can make a memorial contribution to National Ovarian Cancer Coalition at www.ovarian.org in Barb's memory.
