Barb was born May 25, 1958 in Knoxville; daughter of Anderson Haskel and Janice Christine (Simpson) Housley.
She met the love of her life, Carl Wayne Kidd and they were married on May 17, 1979 and they would go on to spend nearly 44 happy years together.
Barb worked as a secretary for Lee & Associates insurance agency for nearly 40 years. She enjoyed games, and decorating her home; but her first love was her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, "Hack" Housley; sister, Debbie (Browning) Hensley; and her parents-in-law, Carl and Erma (Byrd) Kidd.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Kidd; mother, Christine Housley; nephew, Andy Browning and wife, Misty, of Weatherford, TX; niece, Natalie (Browning) Conner; nephew-in-law, Daniel Conner; great-nieces, Lexi, Sophia, and Finley; great-nephews, William and Jacob; numerous aunts and uncles; and a host of extended family members.
At Barb's request, no services are planned at this time. Inurnment shall take place at a later date at historic Greenwood Cemetery.
