Barbara S. (McCauley) MaBra, age 75, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
She was born on January 6, 1950 in Camden, Tennessee to the late Voris and Gladys (Williams) McCauley. She was a graduate of Camden High School. Barbara retired from Saint-Gobain Calmar Inc. in Washington CH. She faithfully attended the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research (IDMR) Bible Study in Springfield, Ohio with her husband, Paul. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, singing, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved son, Paul Lawrence Mabra, III, and siblings, Cornell McCauley, Betty Funderburk, and Edna Gillis.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Paul Lawrence MaBra, Jr., whom she married on June 26, 1971; daughter, Cassondra MaBra; grandchildren, Keionna Anderson, Ariana (Bradley) Vansickle, and Terreek MaBra and his girlfriend, Sara Patterson; great-grandchildren, Lily, Leighton, and Luxie; and siblings, Brent (DeeDee) McCauley, Kenneth McCauley, Shirley Lorick, and Patsey Dunlap. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the Summers Funeral Home from 4-6:00 p.m. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow. Online condolences may be sent to www.summersfuneralhome.com
