Barbara Monteith Obituary
Barbara is survived by one sister, Linda (Jim) Crawford; one son, Scott (Ingrid) Monteith; one daughter, Meredith (Jeff) Glick; four grandchildren, (Maccrae, Jordan, Mikaela, and Cameron), and three great-grandchildren, (Kendra, Beckham, and Jones).
Barbara dedicated her life to spreading the word about Christian Education. Along with her husband, they were part of the founding families of Chapel Hill Christian School and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. She believed in teaching the 3 Rs of education, (Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic), with the Bible as the main education book.
Barbara tirelessly volunteered for many Christian Conservative organizations and was the State of Ohio Chairman of Eagle Forum. Beyond that, she worked the campaigns for dozens of candidates for president, governor, senator, and house seats.
Calling hours will be held at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224 on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 1 - 2:00 PM. Service to immediately follow.
Barbara will be laid to rest next to Bill at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park, where the family will have a private graveside service.
