Barbara Moser Peace

Barbara Moser Peace, 84, a cherished resident of Greenville, passed away on December 22, 2023.
Born in Damascus, VA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Orval and Ava Lee Williams Moser.
Barbara's devotion to her faith was evident in her active membership at Clearview Baptist Church in Travelers Rest. Previously, she was a dedicated member of Monaghan Baptist Church in Greenville and actively participated in the Forever Young Senior Adults group at Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
For over 40 years, Barbara served with dedication and commitment at the Piedmont Shirt Company, where she met her beloved husband, Les, with whom she shared 59 years of cherished companionship. Her professional journey also included over a decade of service at Tolly Furniture Store.
Barbara's love for the Lord was evident in the way she embraced her family. She was a remarkable mother, displaying unwavering love and care to her son and family.
She is survived by son, Stephen Peace of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Lillian Howard of Simpsonville and Betty Eppley (Fred) of Greer; brothers, Robert Monroe Moser (Helen), and Alvin Wayne Moser.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Tommy Jack Moser, Richard Lee Moser, William "Bill" Moser, James Moser, and Warner Moser.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest on Friday, January 5, 2024, with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forever Young Senior Adults at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 1801 Woodruff Rd, Greenville, SC 29607.
