Barb as she was so fondly known by, was born in Massena on June 9, 1950, in Massena to the late William and Mildred (Clark) McGuire. Barb was a hair stylist, a job she loved and knew at an early age that was what she wanted to do, upon completion of high school from Massena Central she enrolled at the Harper School of Beauty in Rochester. She worked at several salons, including JC Penny, Ultimate Image, and the Vogue along with the hair salon on base, while stationed with her husband in Brunswick, Maine. Barb enjoyed traveling, either by car, plane, ship or train, she and her family had many great adventures. The bucket list was accomplished except for a trip to Ireland. We cannot forget her love of animals, especially all the cats that she treated like her children, Sadie, Mittens, Cosmo and Snoopy.

She was a good sport. I recall seeing her in a swimsuit at a canoe poker run. I mention the pleasant view from behind and she overheard me. She turned around , smiled said "Thanks Charlie" and went back to her conversation.
I always enjoyed being in her company.

Barb we are sure going to miss you.
