Barbara married Charles William Rucker on November 19, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio. Together they shared 52 years of marriage until his passing in 2008.
Barbara loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of the home, baking and cooking for her family. Barbara regularly attended Northland Church of Christ when her health allowed. She was a kind, caring lady who will be forever missed and loved by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dan Rucker, Gary Rucker, and Ryan Rucker, and her grandson, Kyle Hickey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Rucker; daughter, Sherry Rucker Cook; and her sisters, Marie Cutshaver and Betty Lucas.
A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Berkshire Cemetery, 5666 State Route 37 East, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. Celebrant Tom Dea' Therage officiating.
