Barbara Sue Stinnett

Barbara Sue Stinnett, 80, widow of William T. Stinnett, died Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Born March 2, 1945 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late George and Laura Smith Morgan. She was a member of 2nd Mile Apostolic Church in Lancaster and retired from Shakertown. Barbara enjoyed gospel music, cooking, going to church, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her children: Lois Bradshaw of Harrodsburg, Richard Stinnett of Burgin, Kristi (John) Hendrickson of Crab Orchard, and Peggy (Robert) Johnson of Harrodsburg; two brothers: Paul (Jean) Morgan and Jerry Morgan; two sisters: Ann Tuggle and Helen (Robbie) Tuggle; grandchildren: Heather Southers, Kyle Kelly, Christopher Stratton, Zachary Stratton, Whitney Smith, Alexis (Trent) Davis, Hannah Johnson and Nolan Johnson; great grandchildren: Bailey Floyd, Leigha Gunkel, Kyla Kelly, Alec Kelly, and Maddie Kelly; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by a great grandson Jacob Gunkel and brothers and sisters: Juanita Adams, Effie Mae Lissal, Calvin Morgan, Dallas Morgan, Mike Morgan, and Junior Morgan.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Gooslin officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with John Hendrickson, Jimmy Stinnett, Nolan Johnson, Trent Davis, Thomas Brummett, Joseph Morgan, and Timothy Stinnett serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tilton Bradshaw, Jerry Morgan, Paul Morgan, John Milburn, and Kyle Kelly.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2025 and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
