Barbara A. Talbot (nee Richardson), 77 of Aston, PA passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on November 4, 2024. Born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia, daughter of the late Edward and Annette Richardson, she lived in Southwest until she moved to Aston 20 years ago.
Barbara was a graduate of St. Clements Parochial School and West Catholic High School. She loved working at Neumann University for over 28 years as a systems analyst, retiring in 2015. Barbara was loved by so many for her caring heart, gentle spirit, and kindness to others. During retirement, her and Bill enjoyed delivering meals for the Swarthmore Senior Center and volunteering for Bread of Life at Mount Hope Church. Barbara was a former member of Good Shepherd Parish in Philadelphia, St. Joseph Church in Aston, and a current member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Glen Mills, PA.
Barb enjoyed traveling and new adventures, playing cards with the girls, going to the movies, hosting the Purple Hat club, but most importantly was time spent with her family. She enjoyed walks and day trips to the beach with Bill, and phone calls and shopping trips with Kim. Barb especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cheering them on from the sideline at their baseball and volleyball games.
Barb is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years and best friend, Bill Talbot, her daughters Kim McDermott (Mike), and Debbie Bonacquisti (Jason), her cherished grandchildren Cailey, Shane, Ellie, Ryan, Rachael, Joey and Jesse.
