Barbara Valorose

Mrs. Barbara Ann (Markey) Valorose, 80, of Dracut passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital. Born in Lawrence, she had been an area resident all her life. Barbara was passionate about her family and friends, a matriarch always caring for the well-being and connections of those close to her. A proud graduate of Merrimack College, Barbara's ethics and talents were employed as a cost accountant and controller. She always enjoyed various crafts, quilting, and a good card game. She fought back against Parkinson's with the love and support of her husband of 58 years Robert Valorose and her friends at Rock Steady Boxing Boston. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Valorose; two sons, Christopher Valorose and his wife Kerri, and Scott Valorose and his wife Rebecca; sister, Janice Donovan; eight grandchildren, Meghan, Mollie, Samantha, Andrea, Jonathan, Amanda, Lauren, and Lindsay; and extended family.
