Barney Wentzel Obituary
Barney Paul Wentzel, age 62 of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Barney was born June 6, 1961 to the late Irving and Shirley (Petterson) Wentzel in Chicago, Illinois. Over the years he owned Chicago Hotdog stands all around Atlanta and also owned Hiawassee Seafood restaurant. He was a fun loving man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Charlie Williamson. He is survived by his wife Becky Wentzel; son, Allan Williamson; daughter, Beth Williamson; many grandchildren; father in law, Allan Driskell. Banister-Cooper is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Wentzel.
