Becky Bock

Rebecca Jane Bock, 80, known as Becky by many that knew and loved her, was a lifetime Morgan County resident. She passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana. She was born Friday, October 1, 1943, in Martinsville, Indiana to the late Archie and Ruth (Schoolcraft) Pratt.
Becky loved singing country and gospel music, drawing and enjoyed the beaches of Florida. She retired from Ken Dalton & Associates in Martinsville where she was a fraud investigator. She also formerly worked for WCBK radio station and the former Morgan County Memorial Hospital. Becky was a member of Zion's Hill Baptist Church for nearly 50 years.
She leaves behind a host of loving family and friends, including her husband, Otis Franklin "Frank" Bock of Martinsville, whom she married October 27th, 1978. She also leaves behind her children, Shannon D. Maxwell of Spring Hill, Florida and Jane E. Maxwell of Indianapolis, Indiana; stepchildren, Brian Bock of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Angela Garrett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters, Patricia Knoy and Donna Fitzpatrick and brother, David Pratt all of Martinsville; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bettie Fletcher, and Vivian Stierwalt; brother, Phillip Pratt and stepson, Frank Bock, Jr.
In honoring her final wishes, her earthly remains will be cremated. Family and friends are invited to a service hosted by her family on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Zion's Hill Baptist Church, 5050 Turkey Track Rd. Martinsville, IN 46151.
