Ben Mieth Obituary
Ben was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Glen Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Nellie Helen Mieth Flanary and by his wife of 71 years, Bertha Dell Mieth on April 9, 2025.
Ben is survived by his children, Debra Cavett and husband Rodney, Miki Martin and husband Woody, and Bennie Mieth and wife Elaine; nine grandchildren, Tabitha Mayton and Jase, Andrew Cavett and Jamie, Ruth Zschiesche and Kyle, Ben Martin and Ashley, Sarah Martin, Jordan Mieth and Bethany, Kelley Mulina and David, Adam Sims and Daneta, and Phillip Sims. Ben is also survived by (20) great-grandchildren.
Ben will Lie in State on Saturday, December 20th, 2025 from 10am. to 5pm. at the First Baptist Church in Glen Rose where the family will greet and receive friends from 1-3pm.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am. On Saturday, December 27th, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Glen Rose with burial following at Squaw Creek Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the First Baptist Church Glen Rose Building Fund or to the International Commission.
