Benjamin Cordell “Dell” Goodpasture, IV, age 59, a resident of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, with Donnie Davis officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dell was born on July 29, 1966, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Benjamin Cordell Goodpasture, III and Angela Odom Goodpasture. He graduated from high school and was a dedicated employee of Cook and Boardman, where he worked for 11 years. Even during his illness, Dell remained committed to his work, continuing until his final days.

A devoted family man, Benjamin loved spending time with his loved ones and was a proud and passionate Florida Gators fan. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Gator. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Angela Goodpasture; sons, Ronald “Cory” Goodpasture of Mt. Juliet, Steven Goodpasture of Bellevue, and John Paul Goodpasture of Nashville; sisters, Gin (Tracy) Baker of Chapel Hill and Angel Goodpasture of Portland, TN; grandchildren, Benton Cordell Goodpasture, Iris Goodpasture, Jase Goodpasture, John Paul Goodpasture, River Goodpasture; nieces, Chynna Messer and Reese Windrow; and nephew, Paul Messer.
