Benjamina America Cespedes

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Benjamina America Cespedes, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on November 26, 2025, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Born on March 31, 1947, in Lima, Peru, America embodied resilience, combining delicacy with strength throughout her life, and she was the heart and soul of her family.
She is survived by her devoted daughter and her husband Raquel and Gustavo Acuna, her daughter Alexandra Moron Cespedes, and her son Alex Moron Cespedes. America's legacy also lives on through her beloved grandchildren: Joey Negron and Samantha Moore, Anthony Acuna, Nicole Acuna, Iren Castillo Moron, Eric Flores Moron, Sol Castillo Moron, Amir Lozano Moron, and Axel Santiago Moron. Each of them carries a piece of her incredible spirit, shaped by her love, guidance, and the countless moments they shared together.
America was a resilient woman, delicate yet strong at the same time. She was the engine of her family, tirelessly working to care for her family with a passion that shaped the lives of her children and grandchildren.
America was known for her authentic Peruvian cooking, bringing together her many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews to share her love in the form of a home-cooked meal.
