He is preceded in death by his father, James S. Bear, Sr.
Michael is survived by his son, Jaden Bear, mother, Pamela Bear (Jack Graves), sister, Michelle Black (Joel), brother, Steven Bear (Kim), and nieces and nephews.
He attended Dacula High School and was a graduate of Cyber Security Institute.
He attended and volunteered at Free Chapel Church in Gainesville.
Michael was also a member of Buford Masonic Lodge No. 292.
There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, beginning at 2:00pm at the Buford Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes and Crematory.
The family will share memories and coffee with friends and family an hour prior, at 1:00pm.
