Paul Anthony Wood

Paul Anthony Wood, age 72, of Dacula, Georgia, entered his eternal home on October 14, 2025. Born in Winder, Georgia, on March 23, 1953, Paul was the son of the late June H. and Geneva Woodruff Wood. He grew up in Dacula and graduated from Dacula High School before attending North Georgia Technical School, where he earned his certification in commercial HVAC. Paul worked faithfully in the HVAC industry for decades, eventually becoming co-owner of his company until retiring in 2019. Paul was a humble, hard-working, and servant-hearted man who loved his family deeply and followed Jesus faithfully. His walk with Christ was never easy but always simple, marked by steadfast devotion and quiet faithfulness. He was a longtime member of Hebron Church and found strength in his favorite verse, Romans 8:28: "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good."
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Denise; his children, Rachel (Brad) Christian and Seth (Ashley) Wood; grandchildren, Daniel, Sara, Lydia, Adalyn, JP, and Hudson; and siblings, Jerrye Foreman and June Wood. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Kirby Wood and John Wood. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Rev. Keith Savage will officiate.

Paul will be remembered for his faith, his love for his family, and a life that quietly reflected the grace and goodness of his Savior.
