Bernice Marie Myers passed away peacefully at home on November 19, 2022. She had just turned 98 years old in October after a small family celebration. Bernice is survived by her loving children, Janice Miller (Dennis), and Philip Myers, Jr.; grandchildren, Jenna Webster, Seth Miller, Daulton Myers, and Colt Myers; and great-grandchildren, Gracie and Isobel Webster..
Mom grew up on 9th Street in Philadelphia during the Great Depression. She was blessed to train and become a seamstress working at the well-known Nan Duskin fashion house in Philadelphia. After being widowed, she moved to Hatboro, Pennsylvania, with her young daughter. Mom was very proud of her home and lived here for 70 years! To support her family, she worked at the old Penn Fruit in Willow Grove becoming head cashier. This is also where she met and eventually married Philip Myers, Sr. whom she lost sixteen years ago. Mom's greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We could write a book describing the challenges that Mom met head-on and conquered over her lifetime. Just know that Mom was our gentle hero who modeled enormous strength, unconditional love, and grace in all that she did. Mom always told us "we could do anything we set our minds to", but saying goodbye to a mother so loved is the hardest thing that we will ever have to set our minds to

Dear Janice. I am so sorry to just learn of your Mom's death. She was a very sweet lady, and she was missed when she stopped coming to church, taking a seat in the back. She lived a long life and I hope she had a peaceful passing. Linda Harter, nee Warburton. I remember you when we were girls.
