Bertha Smith Obituary
Bertha L. Smith passed away on May 31, 2024 at the age of 59 at Dartmouth Hitchcock surrounded by her children, Marissa Smith, Savannah Smith and James Smith 3rd. Her children and grandchildren were everything to her. Maci Emery deceased, Connor Smith, Kane George and Jackson George-Smith. Fun fact: my mum loved to crochet, put together puzzles and weirdly enough collect clowns. Bert worked very hard to put herself through schooling to become an LNA. She wanted to help others and make sure no one was lonely and she achieved that. Bert also worked hard to make sure her children had the best childhood that they could ever want. Bert was never a selfish person; she always helped anyone with whatever she could help with. Bert was an extremely strong woman; she never backed down from a fight whether it was with the illness she had or any other situation that came up in life. She would always tell us that we would figure out how to overcome anything that stood in our way, that we were strong. But at the end of the day, she's an amazing lady that will be missed greatly.
