Bërthe Victorine Warner, age 86, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Bërthe was born in Guadeloupe, French West Indies to Saint Clair Richardson and Paulette Junkerre-Sinvassin. Bërthe married Raphael Warner of St. Maarten, French West Indies who passed away in 1999.
Bërthe Warner is preceded in death by her husband, Raphael Warner; mother: Paulette Junkerre; father: Saint Clair Richardson, sister: Marietta Warner and brother-in-law: Adolphe Warner; sons: Maurice Warner, Joshua Warner; cousins: Radford Richardson, Victor Kingsale, Etienne, Rupert, and Adolphe Warner; daughter-in-law: Jacqui Warner, granddaughter: Gabriella Warner, and grandson: Manuel Warner.
Bërthe is survived by her sisters: Sylvanita Connor, MisJoe Charleswell, Eileen Wells, Alice Poppone, Marie Santiago, Jane and Joan Richardson; brothers: George Junkerre and Gregory, Steven, and -*Brian Richardson; daughters: Jacqueline Hyman, Adele Smith, Jeanne Warner-Pruitt; sons: Roy Warner, Lindford Warner, James Warner, Julian Warner, and Jerome Warner; daughters-in-law: Jacinth Warner, Natasha Masicot, Gwenita Warner, Donna Laurent, Sabina Walters; sons-in-law: Noel Smith, Darryl Pruitt; cousins: Hugo Carty, Rudolph Warner, Adrienne Warner, Sandra Richardson, Daphne Hodge, Marie Junkerre, Delois Charles, Nixon Hodge, Glen Hodge; granddaughters: Geraldine Chirlais, Jalicha Persad, Chené Warner, Chanté Warner, Anna Warner; grandsons: Akeem Warner, Alex Warner, Akeem Laurent; daughter: Donnelsa Laurent; nephews: David Fernandez-Cruz, Willie Pruitt, Devin Pruitt, Deion Pruitt, Jean-Michel Charlais, Geraldine Charlais, Jerome Hyman, James Warner Jr., Jaivon Warner, Chekay Warner; special friends: Yvette "Nin" Joseph, Calford "Capi" Charleswell; other a host of family and friends too numerous to mention.
In the late 1950's, Bërthe Sinivassin and Raphael Warner met on the island of Anguilla. They were married on St. Marteen, French West Indies. From this union came ten children, Roy, Jacqueline, Adele, Jeanne, Maurice, Joshua, Linford, James, Julian, and Jerome Warner. Raphael and Bërthe loved their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much and worked tirelessly each day of their lives to care for them while keeping them healthy and happy. Raphael and Bërthe also loved God and their entire family and friends very much. They work diligently to create loving memories that transcend our time on earth and embraced God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and Heaven.
Bërthe grew up on the island of Anguilla. Bërthe was very industrious and knew how to cook, plant a garden, sew and she loved to travel. Bërthe was also an award-winning salesperson at Cavanaughs and A.H. Riise Gift Shop and Jewelry Stores. Bërthe and Raphael worked hard to acquire land in St. Thomas to build a home for their family in Contant on the island of St. Thomas. Bërthe and Raphael love God and were loved by everyone who met them. They were also dedicated members of the New Testament Church of God in Savan, which grew during their membership to include the Mount Zion New Testament Church of God in Tutu.
Bërthe passed away into Heaven with a beautiful smile on her face while receiving treatments for Cancer. Bërthe's final resting place for her body will be with her late husband, Raphael on the Island of St. Maarten in the French West Indies. Our family was blessed to be a part of the lives of Bërthe and Raphael and they both wanted our family and friends to all love each other.
Homegoing Celebration Services for Bërthe Warner will include a Repass on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 6 pm to 8 pm EST located at Crowell Funeral Home 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd,
Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. A Homegoing Celebration Service scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2024, at The Mount Zion New Testament Church of God, which is located at Anna's Retreat, St. Thomas USVI 00802. The final Homegoing Celebration Service will take place on Saturday, February 2024 at the Church of God of Prophecy located at 27 Union Rd, Cole Bay, St. Maarten, DWI with burial to follow. More information will be made available in the near future.
