Betsy Futterman Obituary
Age 81, originally of State College, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Betsy was the beloved mom of Suzy Stauffer, and her husband, Josh, of McMurray, Pa., and loving grandma of Chase Stauffer and Talen Stauffer, both of also of McMurray, Pa.
Betsy earned her bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in the field of education from Penn State University. She was a long-time elementary school principal for Bellefonte School District. In her free time, she loved traveling, especially to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Arrangements by BEINHAUERS, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-941-3211. Betsy will be privately laid to rest with her beloved parents, Paul William Wilcox and Doris A. (Underwood) Wilcox in Lynn Cemetery, Springville, Pa. A Celebration of Life in State College will be announced at a future date.
