Libby was born in Mayo, FL on November 15, 1950 to the late Britton and Wynonna Walker McGuire. She attended Palatka schools and was a 1968 graduate of Palatka Senior High School. She earned an Associate's Degree from Daytona Beach College. She began her career as a Respiratory Therapist before certifications were required, beginning in the late 1960's with 'on the job training.' She went on to work 50 years as a Respiratory Therapist at Putnam Hospital until her retirement.
She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with her family. She also enjoyed drag racing and car shows, always accompanied by family! A favorite weekend ritual was having breakfast dates with family at local restaurants.
In addition to her parents, Libby was preceded in death by her two brothers, Steve McGuire and Bob McGuire; and her son, Johnathan Crews.
Surviving are her husband, Steve Adams; a son, Stephen Adams; a daughter, Amber Roberts (Chris); a sister, Debbie Tinsley (John); and three grandchildren, Cole Roberts, Alexys Roberts, and Oaklynn Adams, as well as numerous family members.
