Betty D. Herwick Barlow, 67, formerly of Erie, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community in Conneautville, PA. She was born August 25, 1957 in Erie, a daughter of the late Hyle K. Herwick, Sr. and Doris Moore Herwick.
Betty dedicated herself to the medical field as a van driver, a role that allowed her to connect with those in her community and provide essential support. She developed a very close relationship with residents at Parkside at Westminster and Regency at South Shore.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Hyle K. Herwick, Jr., Dennis Lee Herwick, and Jeffery Scott Herwick.
She is survived by her son, Richard K. VanNostran (Tracy); her sister, Debbie Danner (Joe); step-sister, Hylene Sherman (Jeff); two grandchildren, Michael and Maggie; and former sister-in-law, Johna Herwick Weilacher. She is also survived by her dear friend, Pat Jelinek, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Inurnment will be private at Calvary Cemetery.
