Betty Jo Jessing, age 87, of Manchester, TN, passed away at her home on April 26, 2025. She was born on January 5, 1938, to parents, the late Walter and Kathleen Lewis, in Metropolis, IL.
Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Lewis; and sisters, Pat Collias, and Ona White. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bush of Manchester, TN; son, Kent Jessing of Manchester, TN; brother, Jim (Shirley) Lewis of Metropolis, IL; sister, Sue Johnson of Ypsilanti, MI; sister in law, Tish Lewis of Metropolis, IL; grandchildren, Jonathan Bush of Murfreesboro, TN, Taylor (Brooke) Bush of Murfreesboro, TN; and great grandchild, Oliver Bush of Murfreesboro, TN.
Betty enjoyed simple home pleasures. She spent her time crafting, reading and growing flowers around her house. She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Methodist Church. She will be missed dearly by her friends, family, and church family.
Services will we held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at St. Paul's Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 PM with funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Manchester Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time.
