Betty Jane Reigle

HALIFAX - Betty Jane Reigle, age 80, of Halifax, PA died October 15, 2025, at home with her family at her side.
She was born on March 1, 1945 in Harrisburg, PA the daughter of the late Bruce and Mary (Webster) Myers.
Betty was married to the late Lloyd E. Reigle, Jr. for 42 years.
Betty was a 1963 graduate of Halifax High School. She retired as a machinist at Remack Manufacturing, in Middletown, previously she worked at Olivetti Typewriter Manufacturer, Harrisburg, and Muskin Shoe Factory. She was the co-owner of Powells Valley Tire Center.
Betty was a member of Halifax Historical Society, past member of the Lykens Valley Roamers, and the Lioness Club, Halifax.
She enjoyed playing cards and games. She loved baking cookies, camping, and traveling, especially to Williamsburg, VA. She was an avid car enthusiast, hats and jewelry fanatic, a 49ers fan, and had a love for animals, especially her dogs.
She is survived by her daughter Vicki Kemrer, grandchildren David Boyer, Brandon (Jade) Boyer, Kami (Tyler) Lahr, great grandchildren Caden Swinehart, Ambria Boyer, Reid Boyer, Leah Boyer, Layla Lahr and Kasen Boyer, Rheny Lahr, and nephews Glenn Hale, and William "Cale" (Marisa) Reigle, and her dog Lucky.
In addition to her parents and her husband Lloyd she was preceded in death by her daughter Julie Raelene Straub, her sister Barbara Hale, and her step-son Jerry Reigle.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. - Millersburg from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Enders.
