NORTHUMBERLAND - Brenda Lee Griner, age 79, of Northumberland, PA died October 10, 2025, at Geisinger Medical.
She was born on May 12, 1946 in Harrisburg, PA the daughter of the late Owen and Betty (Shaffer) Miller.
Brenda was married to Charles Griner for 58 years.
Brenda was a 1964 graduate of Upper Dauphin High School, and during her school years she played in the band. After high school she worked as a waitress at the Howard Johnson's, and over the years sold Avon.
Brenda was a member of Peace U.C.C., Berrysburg. She enjoyed baking.
In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by her sons Brian Griner and his wife Julie of Watsontown, and Michael Griner of Northumberland, grandchildren Bethani Blessee and her husband Mike, Seth Griner and his wife Talisha, and Mikayla Griner, as well as four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Kevin Miller of Elizabethville, and her sister Deana Stamm and her husband Michael.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Balerie.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. - Millersburg from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Sweitzer's Memorial Cemetery, Berrysburg.
The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Father Flanagan's Boys' Home, 14100 Crawford Street, Boys Town, NE 68010.
