David Lamar Reiner

LYKENS - David Lamar Reiner, 62, of Lykens RD., passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025.
Born on January 14, 1963, he was the son of the late Daniel and Janice (Heim) Reiner. He was preceded in death by his sister, Norma.
David was a 1981 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School. He was employed by MI Windows and Doors for over 20 years and most recently had worked as a caregiver.
A man of faith, David was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church in Elizabethville, where he valued both fellowship and community.
David was a devoted Phillies fan who found joy in sports and family. He especially loved playing Strat-O-Matic baseball with his nephew Paul. David and Paul had a special bond, like a "father and son" relationship. Even when they were miles apart, they stayed in touch, got together for special occasions and just to hang out. David also enjoyed watching the Little League World Series and attending sporting events. A good game of UNO would always put a smile on his face. David will be remembered for his love of the game, his warm presence, and the special moments shared with family.
He is survived by three brothers, Richard of Lykens, Ronald (Kathy) of Middleburg, FL and Victor (Karen) of Halifax. He is also survived by three nephews, Paul, Michael and Nicholas; three nieces, Korin, Allison, and Tiffany, five great-nephews, four great-nieces, and one great-great-nephew, all of whom had a special place in his heart and brought him great joy.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 12, 2025, from noon - 1:00 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 205 West Main Street, Elizabethville. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Lilley, officiating. Inurnment will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
