On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Betty B. Willis, age 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, passing peacefully in her sleep at the Greens at Cabarrus in Concord, NC.
Born in North Carolina on November 25, 1930, to AD and Esther Blasingame, Betty lived a beautiful, full life. She enjoyed traveling the country attending bluegrass festivals and thrifting at flea markets, and cherishing moments with her family. Betty had a gift for making people laugh, and her light brightened every room she entered.
A woman with a servant’s heart, Betty spent many joyful hours volunteering at the hospital and preschool. She found great purpose in giving her time and love to others, leaving a legacy of kindness that will continue to live on.
Betty’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her daughter, Gordana; her beloved granddaughters, Jennifer, Jessica, and Jordan; and her precious great-grandchildren, Liliana, Palmer, and Madalyn, who all lovingly knew her as “Mudder”.
In accordance with her wishes, the family will gather privately to honor her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s memory to ABC Preschool at First Baptist Church.
