Beverly Diane Alonso, age 65 of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Bailey Manor in Hixson, Tennessee. A native of Franklin County, she was born on May 23, 1960, to the late Freddie Lee and Linda Mae (Couch) Alonso. Diane began her professional career working for Lakeway Publishers at The Tullahoma News and The Herald Chronicle. From 1987 until her retirement in 2023, she was employed at Ascend Federal Credit Union in the IT Department, where she was dedicated to her job and work family. She enjoyed getting out and riding, especially to different places to eat and was an avid University of Tennessee Volunteers fan. Her wonderful personality allowed her to never meet a stranger. Diane was a member of Broadview Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Alonso. She is survived by her loving daughter, Christy (Daniel) Keith; grandson, Davis Lee Keith; brother, Tony (Gena) Alonso; sister-in-law, Sheila Alonso; nephews, Chris (Beth) Alonso, Derek (Chesleigh) Alonso, Dusty (Kelly) Alonso, and Kevin (Meredith) Alonso; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Alonso officiating. Interment will follow at Watson Memorial Park with Davis Keith, Kevin Alonso, Derek Alonso, Dusty Alonso, Richard Sewell, and Mark Culpepper serving as pallbearers and Daniel Keith as an honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, a College Savings Account has been set up for Beverly's grandson, Davis Keith, who was the light of her life, at Citizen's Community Bank in Winchester.
