Heaven gained the beautiful soul of Beverly Cannan, age 71, of Michigan City, IN, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. She was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on March 26, 1953 to Leo LaBerge and Dolores (Bradway) Zampetti who preceded her in death.
Beverly is survived by her children, Amanda Cannan and Greg (Brittaney) Cannan; grandchildren, Miranda Cannan, Matthew (Hannah) Cannan, Mandy Cannan, Bailey Hemry and Sawyer Cannan; great-grandchildren: Jaliyah Newton, Jaylen Gardner, Ma'Lighia Gardner, Ka'Myia Gardner, Greyson Cannan, Jaxon Cannan; brother, Jim (Carman) LaBerge; sisters, Mary (Andy) Stainko, Kim Butzler, and Cheryl (Don) Walker. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Cannan; great-granddaughter, Presley Cannan; brother, Joe LaBerge; and sister, Peggy Bohle.
Beverly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a truck driver for 18 years. Beverly loved to garden. She loved crafts and sewing and she was especially fond of hummingbirds.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN 46360 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Jim LaBerge officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Mill Creek.
Expressions of sympathy may be directly to the family.
