Beverly June Luttrell, 85, of Utica went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 25, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Daviess County native was born January 17, 1940, to the late Leslie Lamb and Arretta Gaddis Lamb. Beverly graduated from Owensboro Senior High School with the class of 1958. She was employed at Owensboro Daviess County Hospital until she retired in 1999. Beverly was an avid reader who loved being at home in Utica. As a follower of Christ, she was a devoted member of Little Flock Holiness Church where she served for many years as their bookkeeper.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was also preceded in death by her husband, Marion E. “Gene” Luttrell and her daughter, Tamie Shelton in 2020.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sherry Jackson of Lexington; grandson, William “Christian” Jackson also of Lexington; stepson, Lewis Luttrell, who was a big help to her around home along with her neighbors, Greta Armonds and David and Sheila Durbin.
The funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday, August 29 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 until 6:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service in Nickel Ridge Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Little Flock Holiness Church, P.O. Box 130, Island, KY 42350.
