Beverly McDermott Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. - Kingston on Jan. 9, 2025.
Beverly E. McDermott (Riley), lovingly known as "Nana," passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025. Born on June 6, 1960, Beverly was a woman of boundless love and devotion to her family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband, James Gray McDermott Jr.; her sons, James Gray McDermott III and his spouse, Tina Tarallo, and Andrew McDermott and his wife, Catherine McDermott; and her adored grandson, Beau McDermott. Beverly is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved deeply and cherished.
Beverly is predeceased by her siblings, Lisa Riley, Lawrence Riley, and Harold "Scotty" Riley, as well as her parents, Lawrence Riley and Beverly A. Riley (Bersch).
Family meant everything to Beverly, and her warmth and generosity were felt by all who knew her. She treasured trips to the casino with her husband, lively family gatherings, and game nights that were full of laughter. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandson, Beau, and watching him grow, filling her heart with pride and joy.
Beverly's legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, her infectious laugh, and the way she made every moment special.
