Beverly Ann Sheets

Beverly Ann Sheets peacefully answered the call of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 22, 2025, as she was welcomed home into His presence. Born on October 16, 1943, to Lewin and Amalene Newcomb, Beverly lived a life marked by deep faith, unwavering love for her family, and a heart devoted to serving others.
A devoted homemaker, Beverly had a heart for connecting with others, whether it was working at Kiddie Korner, Beverly's Casual Shop, Sissy's or June Bugs, helping customers find that perfect outfit, or nurturing countless children through her work at Second Baptist CDC and Gospel Light CDC. A faithful member of Hot Springs Baptist Church, Beverly was a true prayer warrior whose love for the Lord shone brightly to all she met and everything she did. Her family was her greatest joy, and her legacy of love and faith will continue to impact all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Murrell Sheets; their 3 children, Jeffrey and Beth Sheets, Gregory and Becky Sheets, and Jil'Lana and Dustin Heard; and her cherished grandchildren, Amy and Justyn Payne, Chloe Sheets, Abigail Sheets, Emily Sheets, Hezekiah Heard, and Hadassah Heard. Beverly is lovingly remembered by her sister, Sandi Merriott, her brother, Gary and Judy Newcomb, and her dear cousin, Karen and Phillip Lowder, as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Beverly's life will be held at the Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center, 2529 Airport Rd. beginning with visitation on Thursday, May 29, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Her Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, May 30, at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Oma Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Todd Merriott, Sean Merriott, Zach Newcomb, Clay Newcomb, Tyler Newcomb and Jeff Lowder.
