Beverly Uran Obituary
Beverly was born on May 6, 1927 in Colebrook, a daughter to the late Norman C. and Dencie (Ladd) Hunt.
She worked as a cook at the 'Lil Chef, the Northland Hotel, Jackson's Lodge and the Canaan Schools, and retired from the Coös County Nursing Hospital after working as a LNA for 24 years.
Beverly loved to cook and leaves many wonderful recipes that have been enjoyed by her family over the years. She loved to go to yard sales with family, eating out, shopping, working on puzzles, touring the north country, and visiting her family in Massachusetts and South Carolina, and her daughter in Farmington, N.H. She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, cruises, going to the beach, bus tours, attending grandkids and great-grandkids activities, graduations, and special family times.
Beverly is survived by her loving daughter Judith (Ernest) Cardinal of Farmington, N.H., grandson Eric (Hunter) Cardinal of Taylors, S.C., granddaughter Lori (Joseph) Marguy of Dracut, Mass., great-grandchildren, Jordan, Megan, Carrie and John Cardinal of South Carolina, and Lily, Joseph & Joanna Marguy of Massachusetts. She is also survived by nieces, Linda (Ron) Kelley, Dencie (Allen) Bartlett, cousin Patty McAllister, and many more relatives in the north country.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Harold Uran, brothers Earl, Norman, Winston, Willard and Sheldon Hunt, sisters, Huldah Hapgood and Dorothy Baker, family Harry & Glenduen Ladd, Hazel Hall and Kathryn Hall and Iola Boire, Grathia Bryant, and many more Ladd cousins.
There are no public calling hours. A graveside service will be held later in the spring of 2024 at the Alice Hunt Cemetery in Canaan, of which notice will be given.
