Graveside services for Bill Dewayne McCalmon, 68, of West Monroe, Louisiana, were held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.
Mr. McCalmon was born on November 24, 1954, in Delhi, Louisiana, and passed away on November 13, 2023, in West Monroe, Louisiana. He had a passion for playing the drums. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Eddis Eugene McCalmon Sr. and AnnaLee Scudder McCalmon; brothers, Randy McCalmon and Eddis Eugene McCalmon Jr.; and sister, Denese McCalmon Clark.
Mr. McCalmon is survived by his son, Cody Lyn McCalmon; daughter, Anna Lisa Awal; daughter in law, Chasity McCalmon; son in law, Esan Awal; grandchildren, Cameron McCalmon, Coda Mauldin, Caleb McCalmon, Cason McCalmon, and Colby McCalmon; brother, Gary Lee McCalmon; and sister, Brenda Jean McCalmon.
