In addition to his beloved wife and parents, Billie was preceded in death by his eldest son, Billy Lee Burke.
Billie is survived by his children and grandchildren: Lisa Ellen Burke and her sons, Tyler and Grant; John Allen Burke and wife Lisa Ann Campbell and their children, Madeline, Brian, and Abigail "Abby"; and Kelly Sue Burke and fiancé, Andrew Moses Ban and their children, Kaylee, Collin, Ashley, Ryan, and Travis. Billie is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Billie proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Raymond Control Systems in 1996. Billie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, TOPS/KOPS, and the VFW.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10:30 am at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Interment will follow.
