Billie Sue Joplin

Billie Sue Joplin passed away June 05, 2025 in Mena, Arkansas. She was born August 20, 1936 to Willie F. (Bill) Cunningham and Anna (Ellison) Cunningham in Mena, Arkansas. Billie loved to read and volunteer at the women's auxiliary at the Mena Regional Health System. She also enjoyed the time she spent with her Presbyterian ladies group. Billie loved and adored her family. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son, Mike Garrett and wife Karen; daughters, Stacy Swall and husband Steve, Sheila McBroom and husband Orvil; grandchildren, Noah Swall, Eli Swall, Megan Garrett, Isabelle Garrett, and April Murphy; A host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Anna Cunningham; husband, Dale Joplin; sister, Patricia Myers; and a host of other family members. Services for Mrs. Billie Joplin will be Monday June 9th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beasley-Wood Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday June 8th, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. Pallbearers are Mike Garrett, Steve Swall, Noah Swall, Eli Swall, Jason Parnell, and Brian Stewart. Honorary Pallbearers will be Megan Garrett, and Isabelle Garrett. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mena Regional Auxiliary Inc., 311 Morrow St N, Mena, AR, 71953.
