Billy Joe Daniels was born on April 21, 1966 to Rodger Dale Daniels and Patricia Martin in Abilene, Texas. After graduating from high school Billy worked for several years as a drilling hand in the oilfield. When he wasn't working he enjoyed studying the Bible, reading, writing, working on motorcycles, fishing, swimming, listening to music, and target shooting.
Billy passed away suddenly the evening of Thursday, January 4, 2024 in Giddings, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents Rodger Dale Daniels and Patricia Martin, his wife Kristi Craven, and one brother, Gary Don Daniels.
Billy is survived by his seven sons, Brian Faires, Rusty Faires, Cory Daniels, Cody Daniels, Dustin Stephens, Coltin Stephens, and Jesse Stephens; one sister, Barbara and husband David McCarter; three brothers, Jim Daniels, Charlie Thomas, and Clint Daniels and wife Robinell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of one's choice.
Arrangements made by Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
