Billy Wayne Limbaugh, age 87 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, he was born on July 9, 1937, to the late Robert Clarence and Mattie Pearl (Gulley) Limbaugh. Before his retirement, he was self-employed at Limbaugh's Garage for over thirty years. Billy enjoyed fixing anything with an engine as well as dirt track racing, tractor pulls, and demolition derbies. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Limbaugh; children, Belinda Karen McNeely, and Robert Douglas Limbaugh; and siblings, Lester Limbaugh, Robbie Noles, and Betty Ruth Boswell. Billy is survived by his loving children, Larry (Terri) Limbaugh, and Mark Limbaugh; grandchildren, Lenzi (Jeremy) Zimmerman, Sarah (Jeremy) Brasher, Britney Limbaugh, and Tyler Limbaugh; great-grandchildren, Payton, Kaylee, Luke, Noah, and Layla; sister, Helen (Curtis) Gann; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 23, 2025, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Kelly May officiating. Interment will follow at Limbaugh Cemetery.
