Billy Gene Mourey

Billy Gene Mourey, 91, of Summersville, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. He was born in Nettie, WV, on October 12, 1932, to the late Kessler and Rilda Mourey.
Billy wore many hats during his life, from a Retired Air Force Master Sgt., a meat cutter, a produce man, a minister, a farmer, and more. Though he wasn't able to feed the whole word it wasn't because he didn't try. His most important roles-, was that of a loving husband and father.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Neff; and two brothers, Homer and Fred Mourey.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Norma Lee Treadway Mourey; a brother, Donald Mourey; 2 sisters, Dorothy Thompson and Nina Moore; 6 children, Victor Mourey, Karen Lassinger, Alice Mourey, Martha Corriher, Norma Jean Mourey, and Michelle Garza; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at High Lawn Memorial Park, building 1, on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 12 PM with Pastor Gary Cooper of Rupert officiating.
