Billy Lamar Proctor

Billy Lamar Proctor, 67 of Piedmont, passed peacefully at home on June 11th 2025 at 12:18pm. Billy was survived by his loving wife and best friend of 29 years Bonnie Cromer Proctor. His Daughter Tabatha Eileen Ellis, his son Billy Shane Proctor, 2 stepsons Tyler Scott Messer and Ryan James Messer and their spouses. 7 grandchildren, Christopher James and Nathan David Ellis, Olivia Jayce, Mason Scott and Emory Rae Messer, Karter Cole and Kingston Lamar Proctor along with several nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.

Billy Dedicated his latter years in to his family and his job of 15 years, Cherokee Timber, formally known as Burns Timber and was greatly admired for his dedicated work ethics. HE enjoyed books on scripture and history and always kept family and Friends entertained with stories and lessons he had learned throughout his lifetime. Billy was a loving and giving man and will be missed greatly. 

Services will be held at Dansby Heritage Chapel on Saturday, June 14th. Visitation for family and friends will be from 11am till 1pm. Services to begin at 1pm with brother Samuel Hooper Presiding. to be followed by prayer at the graveside.
