Bobbie Bowden Obituary

Born Juy 13, 1950, in Farmville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Kirby and Peggy (Bradford) Watson. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald.
Bobbie attended Chincoteague High School and Wor-Wic Community College. She retired from MetLife as a loan processor.
Bobbie loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Survivors include two daughters, Angela Orndorff and her husband, Rich, of Strasburg, VA and Stephanie Klaverweiden and her husband, Fred, of Pittsville; five grandchildren, Ian Meadows of Salisbury, Trevor Klaverweiden and his fiancée, Elaina Sellers, of Salisbury, Cameron Meadows of Salisbury, Casey Klaverweiden and his wife, Kristen, of Deputy, IN and Madison Herman of Strasburg, VA; Two step-grandchildren, Madison (Tyler) Muoz and Kendall Orndorff; Three great-grandchildren, Everett, Teagan and Gunnar Klaverweiden; and her former spouse, Don Cherrix of Hebron.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Sunday, December 11 in Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury. Visitation will be Sunday from 9:00-10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Wicomico Memorial Park, Salisbury.

Bobbie Jean was a good friend and special classmate of the Chincoteague High Sschool class of 1968. I have so many fun memories growing up and spending time with her. She was always up for an adventure and I dearly loved her. When she got married and left school she was dearly missed. I'm so happy she had a beautiful family and a good life, she certainly deserved it. May the memories she leaves be a comfort to her girls, their families and many friends. She was always so caring and a beautiful soul. RIP Bobbie Jean.
