On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, Bobbie Heath, loving husband and father, passed away at age 75 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Bobbie was born on October 3, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Yvonne and Bob Heath.
He worked in maintenance at the Oklahoma City public schools for 37 years. In 1968-1969 he spent his time serving his country in Vietnam. He was a proud First Air Calvary Veteran.
On December 17, 2004, he married the love of his life, Vickie Wilson-Gann.
He was a member of the Choctaw Round up Club for many years, He was also a member of the Central Plains Dressage Society.
Bobbie had a great love for his country and serving in the military was one of his biggest honors. He spent his time serving overseas in the Vietnam Era. He served as a First Air Calvery Member.
He started rodeoing at a young age, riding bareback and bull riding, barrel racing, and continued with horses doing dressage and hunter jumpers. He had a love for all things animals including his horses, dogs, goats, pigs, cats and chickens.
Family was very important to Bobbie and you could always find him at one house or another. It wasn't unheard of to see him sitting outside having a conversation and solving all the world's problems and drinking a cold one.
He had a great love for donuts. His schnauzer will miss him greatly, expressing his sadness by barking all night.
Bobbie was preceded in death by his father Bob and his mother Yvonne, maternal and paternal grandparents, brother Danny, and brothers in law Ike Merryman, and Dean Evans.
He survived by his wife Vickie of the home, daughter Kristi David and husband Steven of Pocola, OK, sons Zachary Dan of Arizona, Zachary Joe and Christy of Choctaw, and Michael of the home, sister Judy Merryman, brother Stanley Heath and Suzan, brother Steve Heath and Cyndi, sister Shelly Evans, sister Tammy Miller and Ray, grandchildren Chris Baker and Emily, Jacob Lokey, Paige Lokey, Jessilyn Eblen, Ashton David, Jada Schneider, Radley David, Scottie and William White, Kate and Dean Vargas, great grandchildren, Cambree Baker, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Barnes Friederich and Pope Funeral Home in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
