Bobby Ray ("Bob") Clark went to his eternal home with his Lord on April 5, 2025, surrounded by loving family at his home in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Born to Jewell and Lou George Clark near McComb, Oklahoma March 11, 1940, Bob had just celebrated his 85th birthday.
Bob's legacy lives on in his childhood sweetheart and beloved wife of 67 years, Patsy Clark, and four children and their families - Debbie Settle of Mustang, Darla and Doug Gragert of Choctaw, Lorrie and Mike Moore of Choctaw, and Bobby Clark and Shaun Cartwright of Dallas. Bob is also remembered and loved by eight grandchildren and their families, including fourteen great grandchildren, as well as three of his six siblings, one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law - Don Clark, Lois Cantrell, Sheila and Bob Evans, and Louise McLin. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, Paul Settle, three siblings, and six siblings in law - Alice and Bill Bray, Lester and Thelma Clark, Jack and Mary Clark, Marilyn Clark, Belvin Cantrell, and Carl McLin.
Bob was well-loved by his church family of nearly 48 years at First Baptist Church of Choctaw, as well as countless friends from the Choctaw community and across the state of Oklahoma.
Bob spent his career as a public school educator - serving thousands of students from McComb, Bethel, Velma-Alma, Garber, Carmen-Dacoma, and Choctaw as a coach, teacher, principal, superintendent, and assistant superintendent. He ended his career as an elected official, serving as Oklahoma County's Superintendent of Schools.
An avid quail hunter, fisherman, and gardener, Bob loved spending time with friends and family in nature. He had a big, generous heart, and eagerly shared bounty from his extensive vegetable garden with family, neighbors, and his church community. He also loved the Oklahoma Sooners, and some of his family's fondest memories involved gatherings to cheer on the Crimson and Cream.
Bob never met a stranger. He treated everyone, regardless of station in life, graciously and with deep respect. He had an infectious laugh and believed in working hard, playing hard, and loving unconditionally. He had a curious and open mind, and he humbly lived out his faith by accepting and loving everyone and steadfastly believing in treating all people equally.
An accomplished man with many titles, Bob was most proud of his family and being called husband, dad, grandpa, and "Bob Bob."
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Choctaw, OK with Dr. Andy Finch officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

I am so sorry for your loss. I didn´t know of his passing until this evening, or I would have been at his funeral service. What wonderful memories I have of Bob and Pat, Debbie, Darla, Lori and Bobby. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
With my sympathy and love,
