Bobby graduated from Homer High School. He went to college for one year to assist with pursuing his job in the military. He enlisted in the United States Army on September 22, 1954; proudly serving his country. Bobby met the love of his life, Lois, at the diner where she was working. He charmed her enough to tell her he was picking her up from work to get married at the local courthouse while he was stationed locally in 1956. Bobby and Lois were never without one another. The doctors even mentioned once how they have never seen a couple so in sync as they were. He went to college a second time for two and a half years to obtain his bachelor’s degree in accounting. After college, Bobby worked as a supervisor for a group managed by the IRS from 1961 until his retirement in January of 2004. Bobby enjoyed golfing and traveling all over the world, especially Europe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Emma Wingard; sister, Valerie Lowe, and brother, Dee Wingard. Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 68 beautiful years, Lois Wingard and nephews, Rob Gardner and Clovis Wingard; along with many friends.
