Bobbye Carolyn Warmack

Funeral Service for Bobbye Warmack, 87, of Jacksonville will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at K.L. Brown Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Rev. Garry Brown officiating. Burial will be at Rabbittown Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Warmack passed away at her home on Wednesday.
She is survived by her husband of 70+ years, Edwin King Warmack; son Doug Warmack (Judy); grandson Kyle Warmack; sister-in-law Mary Burns; brother-in-law DeWitt Doss; and several other friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her brother Orville Murray; an infant sister; and her parents Lonnie and Ira Murrary.
Bobbye grew up on a farm off Red Road 55 and didn't have electricity until she was four years old. In her youth, Bobbye was involved in the 4-H Club and played in her high school band. She graduated as valedictorian from White Plains High School, where she also met the love of her life, Edwin. They were best friends and partners in everything, making every business and personal decision together. After marrying, Bobbye and Edwin moved to Cave Spring, Georgia, to start their first dry-cleaning business. When Bobbye became pregnant, they decided to return home to open their business locally. In 1958, they welcomed their son, Douglas. Together, they established Nu-Kleen Dry Cleaners in 1967, where Bobbye worked diligently for the rest of her life.
A woman of deep faith, Bobbye was a devoted member of Rabbittown Baptist Church, where she participated in the GA's before later joining Cedar Springs Baptist Church. There, she served as the Bible School Director for many years. An accomplished pianist, she shared her musical talents for over 60 years, playing at every church she attended.
Bobbye was a breast cancer survivor, facing her battle with strength and grace. She had a deep love for animals, especially cats, and found great comfort in her therapy cats, Ole Yellar and TC "Tom Cat."
She was a loving mother to Douglas and a cherished grandmother to Kyle. Known for her kindness, she was always willing to give children rides to church on Sundays, ensuring no one was left behind. Her unwavering faith and dedication meant she never missed a service-whenever the church doors were open, she was there.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Warmack, Anthony Wade, Scottie Roberts, Heath Pearson, Nathan Whaley, and Jack Whaley. John Ross Whaley will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
