Bonnie Ann Long, age 64, of Sandy Lake, PA, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was born in Moon Twp., PA on August 17, 1961, daughter of the late David and Carol Frew.
Bonnie was a graduate of Moon Area High School, Class of 1979, and studied at Park University. She was a veteran of the US Marine Corp, serving in logistics during the Persian Gulf War. She retired as a bookkeeper from Loyal Christian Benefits Association.
Bonnie and her husband shared many activities together including hunting, bowling, fishing and golfing. She recently enjoyed learning how to quilt and made many quilts for her family and grandchildren. Bonnie and her husband are members of Lakeview Church of God in North East, where they traveled on mission trips to Ecuador and Chile.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Bruce Long; two children, Raúl Montejo (Erica) and Angela Thurston (Mark); three stepchildren, Bruce Long, Jr., Jessica Kleinhans (Allen) and Christine Doolittle; two sisters, Beverly Woods (Richard) and Barbara Plant (Don); one brother, Brian Frew; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At the family's request, private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Condolences may be sent to www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.
